Check out the food you shouldn’t cook with salt

Your health is of great importance. There is need to take care of it properly, so as to enjoy the future.

1. Potato

Even without salt, potatoes are quite palatable and wonderful. I’m sure the majority of you have observed it as well. It’s a tuber meal similar to yam that comes pre-seasoned with natural salt and flavorings. As a result, don’t add too much salt to it.

 

2. Corn

Corn is a wonderful dish that is enjoyed by a large number of people, particularly in Nigeria. We’ve got both roasted and boiling corn. You may be tempted to keep adding salt to your corn during the boiling process to boost its sweetness, but you must resist this desire. It has the potential to harm your kidneys and liver.

 

3. Rice

Rice is a popular food that is high in starch, carbohydrates, and sugar. These are already extremely harmful to the body, especially when ingested in large quantities. Nonetheless, some people are still willing to use too much salt when cooking rice.

 

4. Yam

Yam, like rice, is a starchy food high in sugar and harmful carbohydrates. It’s best to fry or cook your yams without adding any salt. This would undoubtedly contribute to you living longer and healthier years.
